We have a long history of happy lawyers and tangible impact.
Let’s face it: choosing a lawyer coach and résumé writer is a big decision. You’re not just choosing an expert, you’re also choosing the best partner for you. As you make your decision, it helps to see feedback from past clients.
Since Shauna C. Bryce first formally founded her career services for lawyers in 2006, our goal has been to deliver the highest quality career advising, writing, and client experience. Lawyers often have strong opinions and, over the years, our clients have been generous in letting us know how they felt about whether we’ve succeeded. Although we don’t offer guarantees, we try to stay in touch with our clients over time to ensure they’re on the right track. We try to conduct 3-month, 6-month, 1-year, and 2-year follow ups, which gives clients a chance to let us know if we:
Made a difference in their job search, confidence, interviewing, or decision-making?
Constructed practical action plans that addressed their individual situations?
Added valuable knowledge and perspective?
Wrote résumés, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and other career documents that reflected their value to target employers?
Gave excellent value for their investment?
Provided an encouraging and positive client / customer service experience?
Positively impacted their career outcomes?

- Global bank GC
“The résumé worked great, Shauna. I applied cold for the GC position through a job posting; I didn't even work with a recruiter. It worked beautifully and it took me five minutes to apply. I've never even received a call for an interview when I've applied for jobs online before. And this time I didn't just get an interview; I got the job.”
- DGC securing first GC role
“Shauna, you helped me crystalize what I needed to think about and my guiding principles as I made my career choices.”

- Chief Blockchain Officer
“If there's one regret, Shauna, it's that I didn't take your advice to be more proactive earlier.”
- Chief Privacy Officer for digital product company
“Shauna, you set my career set up for launch! You helped me realize that I need to know what I want, helped me understand the distinction between a legal specialist and generalist -- and that I'm a generalist. Since we talked, I had the opportunity to grow my team and it's been really cool. Now I've just accepted an opportunity reporting directly to the GC of [NYSE-listed cloud computing company]. The first thing the GC said to me at my interview was, 'OMG, your résumé was amazing. I've seen so many résumés, but yours does a great job of showing impact, not only individually but also as a team. Usually I have to work hard to tease it out, but yours just jumped out.' I also want to mention your tip about using our networks to get past HR was really important. HR wasn't interested in me. But my contact got my résumé in front of the GC and an hour later I call the call to interview. Shauna, you are a genius.”
